Aruba
“ONE HAPPY ISLAND” is more than a place – it’s an ideal. Year after year, Aruba continues to attract families, couples, friends and meeting planners looking for something remarkably different from the traditional Caribbean travel experience.
Home to one of the “Top 10 Beaches in the World,” Aruba is the most revisited destinations in the Caribbean, with more than half of all visitors returning year after year. Adventure meets serenity on this island of contradictions – where the sun-kissed, sandy shores of the world-famous beaches intersect with the rugged desert of the northeast coast in Arikok National Park, and where Dutch influence meets American ease. Adventure-seekers bask in cool waters at the Natural Pool (Conchi) and hike through the Guadirikiri Caves and Ayo Rock Formations, uncovering history and civilization at every turn.
Located on the outside fringes of the Hurricane Belt in the heart of the southern Caribbean, 15 miles north of Venezuela, the island of Aruba is 70 square miles (19.6 miles long and 6 miles wide across its longest point). Aruba’s 108,000 inhabitants live within six official districts including Oranjestad (city center), Paradera, San Nicolas, Noord, Santa Cruz and Savaneta. Pos Chikito is known as the island’s unofficial seventh district.
The sun shines in Aruba year-around, boasting a constant 82° F temperature, low humidity and refreshing east trade wind breezes. Visit our website

Aquatic adventures are abundant along the world-famous beaches, attracting windsurfers, kite surfers, sailors, snorkelers, divers and more. Vacationers craving peace and tranquility often find paradise during a rejuvenating spa treatment or strolling through downtown Oranjestad, exploring high end shopping centers, historic museums and vibrant art galleries. Sustainability
Sustainability Commitment
On World Environment Day 2026, Aruba made history when UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere Programme designated the entire island — along with nearly three million hectares of surrounding marine territory — as a biosphere reserve. The recognition makes Aruba one of only a handful of countries in the world to have its complete territory carry the distinction.
The designation celebrates what makes Aruba genuinely remarkable: a small island that contains 14 distinct ecosystems within its borders, from stark cactus-studded landscapes and desert-adapted terrain to mangrove forests, seagrass beds, and coral reefs. Rather than treating these natural systems as separate from the island’s human story, the UNESCO designation recognizes how Aruba has worked to weave conservation and sustainable development together — proof that even one of the Caribbean’s most visited destinations can chart a course where nature and progress move in the same direction.
